We bring the boom or line pump to tight residential lots and tall structural decks. The pump crew coordinates with the finishers so the discharge rate matches the strike-off, keeping cold joints out of the pour.
Each design is built from local gradations, a tested water-cement ratio, admixture dosing and a cure plan. We submit trial batches and break cylinders so the strength curve is known before the first structural load.
Beyond ready-mix, we deliver screened sand, crushed gravel and base course to sites across the valley. Clean, graded stock arrives by the tandem load for road base, drainage beds and backfill lifts.
A pour is only as good as the cure that follows it. We apply evaporation retarders, wet curing and membrane sealers that hold moisture in and keep the surface from drying faster than the core can gain strength.

The Gradation Line
How a mix is designed
Starting from the sieve
A mix design begins with the aggregate skeleton. Sand and crushed stone are washed and sieved into size fractions, and the fractions are blended until the combined gradation nests tightly. A tight gradation means fewer voids, less paste, and a concrete that finishes more easily and shrinks less. We test each stockpile for gradation, absorption and moisture so the batching computer can correct for the water already hiding in the sand. In a valley with the aggregate range of Salt Lake, the right blend is usually local, but it is never accidental.
The water-cement ratio
Strength and durability rise as the water-cement ratio falls. The trick is keeping the mix workable enough for the pump and the finisher without adding water at the chute. We solve that with water reducers and superplasticizers that lubricate the mix while the total water stays at the designed ratio. A lower ratio also cuts permeability, which matters for foundations and slabs exposed to deicing salts and freeze-thaw cycles along the Wasatch front.
Admixtures and cure
Admixtures are the fine adjustment: air entrainment for freeze-thaw resistance, retarders for long hauls and hot afternoons, accelerators for cold mornings, and corrosion inhibitors for structures near chloride exposure. Once the concrete is placed, the cure protects everything the design worked for. We specify the cure method, the duration and the protection temperature so that the strength the cylinder predicted is the strength the slab actually reaches.
